Questions, answered.
What's the difference between Core and Plus?
Only how many banks you can link. Core links up to 5 banks, Plus up to 10. Every feature is on both.
What counts as a bank?
Each login you connect through Plaid, like one Chase login or one credit union. All the checking, savings and card accounts under that login count as one.
How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days of the full app. If notifications are on, Copper reminds you two days before the trial ends. Cancel before then and you won't be charged.
Does my partner need their own plan?
No. Plans only limit linking banks. Someone you invite to your budget can use everything without paying; they only need a plan to link banks of their own.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions go through the App Store, so you can cancel from your iPhone's Settings or from Copper's plan sheet. You keep access until the period you paid for ends.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Your budget, buckets and history stay. Linked banks are disconnected once the plan ends, and you can export or delete everything whenever you like.
Can I pay on the web?
Not yet. Plans are purchased in the iPhone app. The web app works with whatever plan you have there.
